Andrii Nesterenko, CEO of NP Logistic, which is part of the Nova Poshta companies group, shared with RAU the results of the company's work in 2018 and plans for 2019.Last year, the warehouse areas used for fulfilment by customers did not change significantly, however, the average number of orders increased by 20-25%. We achieved these results by investing in the modernization and automation of the production processes in 2018.
"Improvement of processes and software are linked by tasks. We began using new types of PDTs (portable data collection terminal),” Andrii Nesterenko adds.
The company leases warehouse space for its fulfilment centers and is located in Brovary, Kyiv region. Today we lease 23,000 square meters and will increase to 30,000 square meters in 2019.
10% of the total area is rented by Rozetka. Among the Clients of the e-commerce segment are Auchan, Allo, JYSK, and others. In addition to online stores, full logistics services of NP Logistic are ordered by companies dealing with food and non-food consumer goods, consumer electronics, books, and other merchandise.
In 2019, IKEA, the world's largest retailer of home goods, became a client of NP Logistic. NP Logistic has provided logistics services to the Swedish company, including storage and order picking for its City store in Kyiv.
According to Andrii Nesterenko, NP Logistic has other requests for fulfilment, which are currently being negotiated. In general, the demand for fulfilment in Ukrainian e-Commerce is growing by an average of 25-30% per year, the company said
